Formally known as J & R Coins of Utica, Michigan and established in 1966. My father John was the backbone of our business until his passing. Now as Mason Coins we continue our family tradition to provide numismatics with the exact same quality and expertise that we have been known for over the past 37 years.

We are all members of the Michigan State Numismatic Society and Richard is a member of the Lansing Coin Club and a life member of the MSNS.

This website takes our business into the 21st century and we are excited about its possibilities.

We have an inventory of every type of silver and copper coins. If you don't see what you are looking for, please let us know. It's possible that we may be able to find exactly what you are looking for.

It is always best to appraise coins in person; we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Visiting us at one of our many coin shows is an excellent way to accomplish this.

We participate in many coin shows throughout Michigan, mostly in the Detroit, Flint and Lansing area. Traverse City's two day show is one we look forward to each year. Richard sponsors the Chelsea / Jackson / Ann Arbor Coin Show in Chelsea, MI.
